Budget Development, Planning and Administration is a section within the Office of Management and Budget. The roles and responsibilities of the section are to:
- Oversee the preparation, presentation and implementation of the state's operating and capital budgets;
- Direct the adaptation and implementation of effective fiscal and management policies and procedures;
- Manage the analysis of federal budgetary and financial issues including the administrative functions of the Delaware State Clearinghouse Committee; and
- Manage internal OMB functions of Financial Operations and Information Technology.
Throughout the course of implementing these responsibilities, the section focuses on the integration of objective fiscal and policy analysis, program evaluation, financial management and coordination of grants review.
